Spiritual ones

Hey mom! Yeah Christmas was super fun, i loved talking to all of you. I feel like Christmas was pretty cool. It was definitely one of my most spiritual ones. But I'm super excited to be there with all of you next christmas. I was looking at a picture of the family and was just thinking about how awesome you all are. I love talking about you and everyone to other comps. Haha but really, i had a good Christmas. The Lord really is so sweet. It was pretty hard on my greenie though. He's doing okay now though. I hope what you said about baby yoda isn't true😂 haha this Christmas I've really been focusing on the people involved with Christ's birth. Especially mary. Can you imagine raising a perfect son? I've been trying to put Christ in my studies more. And focus on his life. I love him, and his healing power.

A real feeling and energy

Hi mom! I read a talk yesterday and it made me think of you! Ill send it after this email, it talked about how motherhood is the most divine calling. You are a queen!! I hope that this Christmas is fun, even though im not there haha. For us i think it will be pretty fun. We are sleeping over at the other elders house and having a Suriname missionary party tomorrow! Its been a good week, ive found something interesting, ive noticed such a power in service recently, not just doing missionary work to hand out books and tracts, but a real feeling and energy that comes. Making someones weight lighter by representing the Savior. I think Christmas is so great because of that. Last night we went caroling as missionaries and it was really powerful. Thank you for your influence of service. I remember caroling and not wanting to, but now that i look back, you helped me learn about that wonderful power that comes from service. I love you mom Mary Christmas! 💙

focus on what you have

Hi mom! We had a good week this last week, I'm so happy to hear about A baby, what's her name? That's wonderful to hear about h blessing. Families are so special and wonderful, especially when priesthood power and revelation are involved. I'm excited to see the future for this family. You are making such an influence on the lives of people around you through the gospel. Thanks for your counsel mom. I've found that as soon as i just start giving all credit to the Lord, more success and spiritual experiences happen. This past week we were on our way to a lesson with a member who had been alittle inactive. We passed a old man and a girl in a wheel chair. I felt that i should talk to them but kept biking but then the spirit said to turn around and so we went back. We started talking to the old man and everyone calls him "oppa" i noticed the girl in the wheel chair had a beautiful light with her, but she seemed sad. While we talked to oppa, the less active walked up and started testifying of the book of mormon with us and talked about how the girl in the wheel chair would have been a happy beautiful girl but because of her mom, she had ruined her hands and feet when she was little. I sat down next to the girl and talked to her while my comp talked to oppa. I said Hi! Im elder seffker! She said her name was rochel. I asked her what she liked to do for fun and she said she couldn't write, and so i said okay, well i can write/draw for you! She told me to draw a flower, and some more things. She said that she was 21 and that she liked listening to music and flowers. I made her laugh really hard acouple times (im a comedic genius i guess 💁‍♂️ haha) i asked her if there was anything we could do for her and she said she wanted to walk (i think she has constantly been told that because of her mom she can't do anything/be happy) the spirit told me to tell her that she should stop focusing on what she can't do, and focus on what she can do. I asked can you see? Yes. Can you hear? Yes. Can you be happy? Yeah. Can you be sad? Yes sometimes i get made and sad. That means you have a heart that works, you can feel. I told her that she had a beautiful smile. And i promised her, that one day she would walk, and then run, and then dance. And its through Jesus Christ. Discipleship is not having a bunch if baptisms. Discipleship is doing what the Savior would do and following the Spirit. Our goal should not be trying to build ourselves up and get credit. Our goal should be helping people feel the glory and love of God. He is great. He is merciful. His plan is perfect and all that is unfair is made right through Christ and the atonement. I love you mom

Missions are forever

Hi mom, yeah thanksgiving we didn't really do anything, to celebrate, but on saturday we all got together as a district and ate a bunch of chicken nuggets and mashed potatoes haha, it was a good time. We just had a district conference. A seventy came and spoke. It was cool, we talked about the light of Christ and the light the world thing. To be honest i was super tired and worn out by the end. The meetings went too long because of translation. The members didn't realize they needed to shorten their talks because of translation, so i was just worn out at the end of the day. I was alittle inpatient when we got to the apartment and for some reason less enthusiastic about the work because the conference was just soooooo long. But one thing that I've found about my mission, is as soon as i actually get out there and stop talking about change, but making it happen, i have so much more energy and enthusiasm. I'm alittle concerned/worried because the numbers are low in my area because I'm trying to balance getting all my studies in for my greenie, 1 hour of contacting, and all these conferences. My zone leader i think is concerned too, i don't blame him, but i remember that my success as a missionary is not determined by the numbers. Its determined by my willingness. I've got to focus less on the numbers and more on what is actually going on in peoples lives. There is a brother we are teaching who is in a wheel chair and has been to church for the past 5 weeks. He's going to be baptized on the 14th. At the conference i saw all of the members i taught and helped. The first baptism on my mission, scott, gave a talk on the stake/district conference. He talked about the youth program. I still remember teaching him how to give a talk when i was being trained. I felt like alma when he brags about the Lord. I'm so blessed to have the opportunity to see God change people and make them so different. Missions are forever, they don't end at the 2 year mark. Every member is a missionary. We can invite people to come and see in normal amd natural ways. I love you Mom i hope you all have a wonderful christmas season. We're coming up on your birthday, you've been a wonderful mother. I listened to the primary song "i know my Heavenly Father loves me" the song you'd always sing to me when i was little. Tears came to my eyes. Thank you for teaching my that my Heavenly Father loves me. That has carried me to my mission and throughout my life. The Love that you exercised for your father in heaven shined to your children, your influence has changed lives. I love you mom

He saves and redeems us!

Its a good time haha yeah i read james 1 this week too, ive decide im going to read jesus the christ  again. But read it slower. I am going to end it, at the end of my mission. Im going to be reading about christ's birth on christmas, have you seen that light the world short film they made? I think its one of my favorite vids released from the church. It makes you think about what they all knew about how important christ was from just prophecies.
Christ lives. He saves and redeems us. I know that from personal experience. Love you mom 💙

Rhythm to Life

there was a baptism for the other elders investigator this week, and so we brought f, I think he really liked it. we sat in a lesson with him and asked him if he wanted to be baptized and he said yeah, it'll be good. I'm leaving my area after being here for 24 weeks, so now I'm going down to south zone, where it's pretty ghetto, should be some fun stuff. My new comp is E. M, and he's pretty cool. anyway in my studies this week I've been able to read alot more, because of having technology. here were some cool quotes from my studies this week:
"It is so easy to be confrontive without being informative; indignant without being intelligent; impulsive without being insightful! It is so easy to command others when we are not in control of ourselves.
We should savor even the seemingly ordinary times, for life cannot be made up of all kettledrums and crashing cymbals. There must be some flutes and violins. Living cannot be all crescendo; there must be some counterpoint.
Clearly, without patience, we will learn less in life. We will see less. We will feel less. We will hear less. Ironically, rush and more usually mean less. The pressures of now, time and time again, go against the grain of the gospel with its eternalism.
Patience is, therefore, clearly not fatalistic, shoulder-shrugging resignation; it is accepting a divine rhythm to life; it is obedience prolonged. Patience stoutly resists pulling up the daisies to see how the roots are doing! "
-NEAL A. MAXWELL

anyway, I like how he says "Patience is...... accepting a divine rhythm to life" we can't constantly be having the most exciting things happening. anyway short email for this week but that's that

He will protect

This story is from this past week, We had another lesson with that guy named frank, now let me remind you, he is a very stiff old man, but the gospel really seems to soften his heart, we decided to bring a member to him, and i gave the idea of bro. S. s is alot like frank, really stiff, but really loving and nice. he'll tell you when you are wrong tho. anyway, before the lesson, we called him, and he was alittle stiff about where we should meet up, to go show him where franks house was. after the phone call, my comp said, "are you sure Bro. S isn't too old?" anyway, we got to the lesson, and this lesson would have either been super awesome, or they would have disagreed, and it would have been super bad. got into the lesson and they immediately hit it off. Bro. S said that he recognized frank from somewhere. they started talking about soccer in S. frank said you know de franco? the one with the short leg? Bro. s: yeah yeah, Frank: he's dead now. bro simons mouth hung wide open, no.....yeah, and you know Lagrange? he's dead too. no...... and then they talked about how soccer was good back in the day, but now it sucks, and then in the middle of the lesson, they talked about why dogs are so awesome. it was pretty funny, I was trying to hold back laughing a couple times. but anyway we taught him about the spirit world and how God loves all of his children, no matter age, race, or what ever. really awesome time.

Hey mom, that story about a is awesome. I know the Lord will protect you too. that's one thinkg I've learned on my mission, is if you press forward with faith, and trust God, no matter where you go, He will protect you. I've seen Him watch over me alot. It makes me super happy that melissa is going on a mission, if the Lord tells you to go on a mission, it's mandatory. haha. but yeah, that's super exciting, she will love her mission. I am a big supporter on going on a mission. you have hard experiences, but they aren't as hard as they would normally be, because Heavenly Father lifts the burdens off your shoulders. thats what i noticed when I was in the hospital. he loves his children, and helps them, as they serve him. I saw the pics of remi, he is so big, thats so fun! I"m excited to see all you guys when i get home. Well thanks for everything mom, I love you 💙

Very elect

okay this week, is a story that's super recent, one day we decided to stop by a ladies house to check on her, (ya know basic missionary stuff) and she wasn't there, so we went to the house across the street. the guy across the street was this old guy who brought chairs out and let us in and so we sat down, and as soon as we sat down he started saying how Joseph smith was a liar, and that it was blasphemous to have a picture of someone seeing God. with people like that I usually get upset and don't control my temper too well. but the spirit kept me calm haha. we explained to him the background and at the end of the contact he was still stern, but in a different way, he said something that stuck out to me "you guys don't know rain or sun, you do all this just based on faith" or something along those lines. it gave me confidence. everything that I do as a missionary is based upon the faith that I have. we missionaries sit out in the burning sun, and in the freezing rain, to serve somebody we've never even seen, but someone we have felt. then this guy went on to say "you two don't even have a desire for women!!" then I said "well I mean we try, we aren't gay" anyway, we've had a couple more lessons with him and he is actually super elect. I think he's going to be baptized. as we bring more info to him, he is more open, because the gospel makes sense, and goes with the bible, most of all, because the spirit is there, and speaks to his heart. I love you guys, and talk to yall next week!

God is at the helm

"this has been a really good week" says every missionary at the beginning of every single letter. but yeah, it's been good. ya know I don't think that I've done describing Suriname justice. so I think from now on (I'll try) I'll tell a weird, or funny story, instead of just giving the whole "this is how my week was" crap. I guess a good story this week was actually this week. we were about to go to an appointment and a drunk guy yelled at us to stop us. I was thinking "crap not this same drunk guy again" but my comp stopped otherwise i probably would of just kept biking (when you know what people will say you don't make much effort to talk to them again.) but anyway we stopped, and he just went off about how he wanted to buy us drinks and such. I thought well, "we aren't gonna get too far with this guy cause he's drunk, so I started talking to a Haitian lady and her daughter, I was speaking in surnantango cause she didn't speak dutch. eventually the drunk guy bought us some drinks after we told him it was okay (he was honestly a super nice drunk guy but i didn't want him doing something he was gonna regret later.) anyway i said "you should't buy these for us, you should buy them for this woman and girl" and then he said "I already did! I love the children!!" and then I said "that's good but you should't love them too much!" (when i know someone is drunk i like to have fun with them, in a professional, disciple of Jesus Christ way) and then after he talked abit more about how he loves people and stuff, and He gave us like 50 hugs while doing this (like i said, super nice drunk guy) then i said "hey can i take a picture with you!?" and so we did, (I don't have my camera, so I'll send the pic next week) and then I gave him a hug and said I love you, and he said the same, and then I looked at him and he started making the - I'm about to cry face- so then i made that face as well. then He actually started crying, and I said "I love you" again. and then we left and gave the drinks we got to two other guys. just a sweet little funny story. but yeah. if you ask people if you can take a picture with them, it makes them feel really good. I think I'm going to start doing it more. well love you guys, peace.

Hey Mom, You guys are going to the islands!? are you excited or a little nervous to see how Jared has been living? yeah, that experience with Jackson was good for me. yeah, families are awesome. the girl still really wants to be baptized but she won't talk to her dad about it, because she's so scared. so I don't know how soon she'll be baptized, but, she likes to meet with us, and we've told her, that no matter what happens she WILL have an opportunity to be baptized no matter what. God's plan is merciful. He wants us to live with Him, so He's made a fool proof way, if we want it. anyway I love you Mom, thanks for all your help and love. I know this church is true, and that Christ is at the helm.

said he was Christian

yesterday we found a 16 year old kid with a radio, He looked like he had nothing, and didn't seem like he was given everything He needed growing up. but He is one of the sweetest people I have ever met on my mission. He told us his mom was dead and that he lived with just his dad. we asked if we could meet with him AND his dad, and he said his dad was alcoholic, and was hindu, but when we asked him what he believed he said he was Christian. the faith and love he had for the Savior was amazing, for what his situation was. we gave him a tract, and continued on, later on during a contact he stood at the front of the house waiting for us, when we finished he gave us some fruit he had. I knew I had to give him something and so i gave him a book of Mormon. I explained alittle of what it was, and how we would talk to him about it more in our appointment. I could feel that his spirit was so hungry, and that the light of the gospel will bless him. I love this work, and I love this gospel.
Hey Mom, thanks for sending the package!! I'm excited thank you!! It sounds like everyone is getting done with school and having their programs and things! j picture in his program was so cute. I heard he was doing a bunch of link poses from zelda. haha thats my boy! haha. tell a and b happy birthday for me! I hope they had a good time! b went to the mall for her birthday?? I just went to the mall for p-day, what did b buy?? It's so weird and cool seeing pictures of the house haha. i've heard it's been raining alot! i've learned to enjoy the rain when we get it, cause it's so darn hot! but now we are entering the long rain season, so maybe I'll get sick of it haha. I've actually started studying the come follow me too, I haven't read the quotes or anything, but I have read the scriptures! the story of the rich young ruler reminds me of the guy who wants to turn back to bury his dead. I've had that as one of the main themes of my mission, to not turn back. Christ and Heavenly Father don't look back at our past, they just look towards our future and we should do the same. We need to face the plow and keep goin. Thanks for everything again mom, I'm excited for the package!

amazing example to me of faith

yeah, this whole gospel is founded upon sacrifice. I was reading in Alma when he's talking to one of his sons. It's an interesting chapter because it seems like Alma knows that he is going to be gone soon and so as he writes his son, instead of telling his son everything that he has learned from his life. he tells his son the basic principles of what he knows and then tells him to trust in God and learn from him. He teaches his son to learn. I like that. I think as a missionary I could be incorporating that more.
We had a few drop through lessons this week, so you know what that means.......CONTACTING!!! it was actually super awesome, there was this missionary in Suriname who got 200 something contacts last week, so me and Elder H were inspired to work even harder to get more contacts. and we've had a lot of fun doing in, it's honestly super cool just walking through the streets stopping people that walk by and talking to them about why everything they believe is totally wrong. hahah just kidding, but it's always an adventure contacting, it's great. our numbers are climbing bit by bit :) (I hope you don't all think I'm super numbers oriented CAUSE I'M NOT.) any way, we've been teaching this awesome family and they are soooooo close to baptism, this saturday :) the mom is such an amazing example to me of faith, she has had dreams about joining the church, one dream, she dreamt about Christ in the spirit world, he was able to speak every lang and talk to everyone. it was super cool. she speaks surnantango, so we have her daughter or a member translate for her. the weeks are flying by. before I know it it'll be the end of the transfer. sorry I don't have any pics lately, but hopefully soon! Love you all!!
Elder Seffker

I know this is where God wants me to be

It's been a good week, we contacted quite abit, but it was really fun. it's like we just go out and run around ADVENTURING!! anyway sorry sorry this email is kinda short. but i know that this is were i am meant to be, I know this is where God wants me to be. I love you Mom, I hope that everything is going really well. have a wonderful week and thank you for your prayers💙

as a missionary you help others feel the spirit

Okay! well now I'm in a new area, with my new companion, Elder H! super awesome missionary, and knows his calling and why he is here. He came into suriname with me! so we are the same age mission wise, and He frigging loves to study which is awesome. He's very committed and super Christlike. Most people said it's kinda hard to leave your first area on your mission, but honestly, I love this new area, the community is super cool, and the apartment is way nice (alittle TOO nice ;)) I think because of the kind of missionary Elder H is, I've found so much more success. It's like everytime we contact, we find somebody cool. My goal is to be alot more like Elder H by the end of our companionship. Elder He and I taught a Gospel lesson in a baptism this friday. the old woman being baptized went to go into the font, and then before she stepped in she began praying, it was a few minutes of silence as we waited for her to enter the water, It was super spiritual. we sang the hymn "How great thou art" and as we all sang in dutch, I remembered my Mom teaching all of us the song, every morning we would sing and learn abit more of the song. It was pretty special for me, as a missionary you help others feel the spirit, and so you get used to feeling it alot, almost to the point that you can't notice it's there, but at that moment I could feel it so strongly. God's love is real, We don't just worship because we need a false hope, It's because it's real. God truly loves us. He does not intend mediocrity in his children. He wants us to have ALL that He has. and he does everything He can to give it to us. so much to a point that he sent His Son Jesus Christ to suffer and pay for it all. I love the Savior. I know that He Lives, and that He truly is Risen.

layers of armour that they put on through scripture study and prayer and church

April 16th 2019

I'm now leaving my area!!
General Conference was purty cool. I thought it was super cool how they talked about families and repentance. One of my fave talks was about how men need to improve and repent. what an awesome message from the prophet. Like I said before I'm leaving my area, I'll be going to the other side of the map, to leiding. that'll be super cool. My companion is Elder H, I've only heard good things about him. From what it sounds like and looks like, he's diligent as crap. and he studies alot. I'm pumped, I need a companion like that. He'll be a great strength. This week we had interviews with Pres. In my interview we looked at a painting of a missionary looking in the mirror putting on armour in his reflexion with Christ in the background. he told me how it seems like the high leaders in the church like the apostles dont even seem like they are ever tempted. and then he told me it's because of the layers and layers of armour that they put on through scripture study and prayer and church. such dense armour when they are tempted, it doesn't even make a dent. I was also studying about our divine potential, we are gods in embryo. when we realize who we really are, it helps us withstand, and treat ourselves and others with respect. I love you all, and know that this is Gods work. its a fight, but it's all worth the fight. I'm not always having fun, but i am super happy. I love you all.
Elder Seffker :)

I watched a little movie about the Temple is Salt lake pretty recently, was it called "House of the Lord? i dunno, anyway. it's been awesome, I'm excited for easter, It's been two weeks since I've taken the sacrament, because of conferences. I'm excited to be totally clean again. Isn't this gospel just amazing? I was thinking recently about the two other kingdoms of glory...and wondering why the scriptures make them seem so awful, when we learn that they still surpass our understaning. and I've learned that the reason they suck so much (excuse my french) is because you can't progress. you are in one kingdom for the rest of eternity and have no way of getting higher. My mission President said damnation is literally the word to be dammed. youre stopped. you cant move on. in the Celestial kingdom there will always be the opportunity to get better, to create more. that's why the sons of mosiah tremble at the fact that they're lamanite brothers wouldn't inherit that. and it's helped me understand as well.

God is at the helm

It's been a while sorry, anyway alittle earlier this week I met this lady while contacting and she was this german white woman who was a jehovah's witness missionary with her husband. we set up an appointment for later that week. I was alittle nervous to go, because these missionaries seemed like they would just yell at us about how we were wrong and I didn't know if it would be much of a lesson. anyway as we biked up to the area and contacting alittle before the appointment we were talking to an older woman and out of the corner of my eye i could see somebody familiar. this certain somebody was a guy who we had met a while ago, he is covered in rings and necklaces and is a bit of a dork. he believes that there is Christianity, Islam, Hinduisma, and HIM he is the 4th religion apparently (I'll send a picture ) anyway He's a legit false prophet, like right out of the book of mormon. I could see him, and he had a bike with a bunch of suriname flags on it (He claims that he is the god of suriname) so he followed us contacting for alittle bit (he believes that we are 2 of his servants or something stupid like that) anyway we got the the appointment with the two jehovah's witness's and the false prophet just waltzed into the appoinment with us!! turns out the jehovah's witness couple was SUPER nice, and respectful, and I learned alot about their faith. they actually knew what they were talking about. the false prophet said a bunch of stupid crap but it was all fine, at one point the jehovah's witness lady said "now did you two bring this gentlemen to our lesson?" we responded "NO, no we didn't" anyway a funny experience, but something I noticed about the jw faith, is the doctrine they have is soley based off of facts and logic, and turning the bible inside out to know exactly what God want's they do they're best with what the great apostacy has done. It makes me grateful that we have a prophet of God (not a stupid false one) who speaks what God wants exactly for us, and we have the Book of Mormon, which gives us more information on topics the Bible doesn't discuss. I love this church, I love this Gospel and I know that God works today, just like he did in the scriptures. I love you all, stay awesome and pray and ask God what he wants.

Hey Mom! what in the world!! that is some crazy knews hhahaha! I guess dad has TWO siblings. I feel like I'm living in real life Star Wars, "no harry I am your sister!!" that's so crazy ha ha. I love the pictures! that's so amazing, so many crazy things are happening over there! haha. Well mom thats awesome I'm glad that you've got all the heavy stuff out of the way! man I'm so excited! Well mom, thanks for everything! I love you so much, I know this church is true and that God is at the helm. also one more thing dad has a beard?? why didn't he have one when I was home?? hahah okay love you mom, thanks for eveything talk to you next week at about the same time!

Spirit answered

Kinda like the current bush. Then we were in a lesson with a man named martin and he asked "why is it when we try to do better and be good people, it just seems to get more difficult and harder?" He asked the very question that I wondered! and then as the Spirit answered him through me, both of us learned the answer to the question. God knows that we can be more, He loves us and wants us to be stronger. We gain more strength as we climb over stumbling blocks. We need to be patient and keep moving forward. I love the quote in the story. "  If I let you go the way you want to go, you will never amount to anything." God loves me, He put me through these things and still asks me to be patient so that one day I'll look back and say " Thank you, Mr. Gardener, for cutting me down, for loving me enough to hurt me." I love this Gospel and I love you mom. We just contacted this 9 year old girl and I asked her who God was for her. she said "Her King, and Father" I was prompted to say "well.....if He is a King, and you are his daughter then that makes you a princess!!" I don't think she had ever really thought of that before. I love this work, and I love the Spirit. The Holy Ghost takes care of Allllll the weaknesses in lessons, and then helps me grow. I love you mom, thanks for everything!

work like it’s up to you!

hey. yeah so...... The area is doing good! There were just 3 baptisms this last saturday and so we are working to make sure this area doesn't slow down just because of some baptisms! Elder H is doing good, We are getting some good Language studies in. One of our goals this transfer is to never let the apartment get dirty! I know this is Christs only true church on earth. Although many religions are good, they are not fully true. I know that through experiences, and struggles I've been able to come closer to my Savior, and I know there are even more struggles and experiences to go! This week, after the baptism, the father of the family called us before a lesson and said "can i ask you two a question" I had no idea what he would ask and hoped that He wasn't upset. when we got there he asked If we could give a blessing to his 3 year old daughter. It's amazing to see the great faith already applied in someones life even one day after Baptism. my mission pres sent a little quote that was awesome "work like it's up to you" Thanks for everything! stay cold in utah chumps.

I love this family so much.

Hey Mom I'm gonna try to call you today, this computer works good, if I don't get a hold of you, I'll try next week! anyway that email about jacob 5 is super cool! So You're all moving march? 3 weeks? good luck! I hope Rachel and Grandma had fun birthdays! We got transfer calls this week and I'm staying in the same area, with the same companion! it was pretty funny, Elder H was so scared to end up with this other Elder in our zone, haha, luckily we're staying together, today we're doing alot of deep cleaning of the apartment, and we'll do our best to keep it as clean as possible throughout the transfer. There is a wonderful family that is getting baptized this saturday, and I love this Family so much. They're so much fun haha. i think i may have already told you about them, but they remind me alot of us as a family too! well I love you Mom thanks for everything! I love you!

Jesus the Christ

I've been reading Jesus the Christ lately and it's full of super cool info. about who Christ really was, it goes through the new testament chronologically, and goes in depth about Him. If you haven't ever had the chance to read it, try to! it's pretty cool. it makes a really good study! That's cool what you said about ministering, I think about the original 12 Apostles, Christ told them as they would lose their life, they would find it. it's super cool,  service of Christ is really cool, you see the world around you in a different perspective. Love you all. Elder Seffker

Heavenly Father will help us

Hey This week has been insane and awesome (literally what every missionary says at the beginning of their emails.) Anyway I finished my training this week, and now I'm on the same level as a standard missionary, (about a level 14, almost evolved) But yeah, Elder H l is gone, and now it's ELDER HON *AIR HORN* yeah he's pretty cool, we finished our first appointment and we were biking down a sand path, and Elder H was doing some speed x bike stuff, he was going extra fast, so I sped up too. then he biffed it His bike fell and then my front tire hit his back tire and I flew forward, the next thing I remember I was on my feet not. a. scratch. *play 17 miracles soundtrack* although Elder H was on the ground, all that happened to him was a little tear in his white shirt pocket and some dirt. It was pretty cool. Elder H left me and Elder H with most of a baptism to plan for sister R She's awesome and her baptism was that Saturday. It was kind of stressful, both me and Elder H were not qualified to plan a baptism and we were not smart or good enough to do it. but guess what? God is!! and He helped us. it was stressful, but it taught me how much Heavenly Father will help us when we choose to serve Him. The day of the Baptism came and the person giving the talk called and said they couldn't do it 15 minutes before the baptism would start. and the Baptizer wasn't there, so we did what we could, one Elder gave the talk and I got the opportunity to Baptize sister R!  It was a super cool experience, anyway that's basically what happened this week. I know Heavenly Father will help us and If we trust Him, we will see miracles!! Love you all (well not ALL of you, I'm looking at you jimmy) Stay awesome and cool.
