Blossoms representation Restore Gospel
Hi mom! man i love the spring! it's the perfect weather, and the blossoms are so beautiful. apparently when joseph smith had his first vision, it wasn't as green as the paintings show. there were more blossoms! (it was early spring) I learned that from a podcast I've been listening to. it's pretty cool. just preparing for conference! it's cool how there were blossoms tho. it can be representative of the blossoms of the restoration, after the long winter. of apostasy. disneyland sounds super fun! have a great time!! it'll be fun with less little babies. good luck with jake and jack. they'll have an awesome time!! i'm so happy to hear about the house! that is super miraculous. reminds me of one of the big themes of the book of mormon. if ye shall keep my commandments, ye shall prosper." that's very evident with mike and kaylene and them applying the gospel in their family. yeah, it was nice having some time to talk to dad, we seemed pretty excited when I told him I had only 6 months left. don't worry about it. singing to the elderly is way more important. 😆 I think it's so cool that you do that. i bet you feel the spirit super strong when you do that. what a wonderful form of ministering! work is good! there is a young man named j who was on baptismal date for this past saturday, but we pushed him back two weeks. he needs just alittle more time. we are also teaching a lady named s. she has been going to church for a month, and we just had a lesson on baptism. she understands what that covenant means. and I know she is going to prepare well. we are praying about a baptismal date. yeah i actually read your email about the media goin nuts, and then taught santousha. she agreed. people are going crazy. it's alittle stupid. they do that because it raises interest levels and they get paid more. super dumb haha. Its super sad to hear about the virus, but we need to look at things with just a tad bit more hope. thanks for that text. i did fast for those with the corona virus. fasting is so cool. i haven't got the package yet. do not worry. even if i never get it, I'll be home soon anyway haha. I lvoe you mom, have a wonderful week, and a good time at disneyland!! (the 2nd happiest place on earth!)(our home takes number 1!)

Bird🤣
am so excited to do come follow me with all of you, for us it's alittle weird, there isn't really a missionary version of come follow me, so I've been trying to just read along and learn on my own, "aaaaaaallll alone" yes, I'm excited for this area, it's super cool, we talk to aton of people everyday, yesterday we started teaching a 14 year old girl, in a little area (kinda like a little village of some kind) and as we taught kids started gathering, I made nicknames for abunch of them, mainly naming them off of their clothes -hangover hoodie, npd political party, mario, flower girl, meneefje (my nephew) meneefje #2. it was funny. we got a picture with all of them and we looked back at the pictures and there were two kids giving the camera the bird i said "what the heck mario!!" kids here are so funny
Watermelon Cheer
Hi mom! good to hear from you again! now I am in...thats the downtown of the ....yeah the bike crash caught me alittle off guard but whatever, it wasn't too big of a deal, the wounds I got are healing up good and stuff. this area that I'm in now is super cool, there's aton of success here, but at the same time, there's alot more opposition here as well, i think i may have said this before, but I think this may be my favorite area so far, me and B are working pretty hard, so I get alittle tired but it is so rewarding, I feel so much more focus on my mission here and less focus on what is going on at home, i think the main thing i think about home wise is you guys, my mission has been good for me because i started out missing the material things aton but as I've come along I've gained a deeper love and strengthened testimony of family. so many missionaries say they wish they had spent more time with their family before they left, and i know this sounds kinda sad, but I'm glad i didn't really have any friends before i left, so that I had so much focus on just spending time with you and dad and the kids. those moments before I left are so precious to me, I have gained abit more perspective on my social life, and spiritual life. I hope that j and m understand that when they go on missions they need to make sure family and worthiness is their first priority. the new youth program looks so cool, that will help so much in preparation not just for a mission, but also for the rest of their lives. low key wish I had that when I was youth, instead I just got the stupid "watermelon cheer" nah just kidding, I love scouts, I love you mom, Have a wonderful week.

Lords timing
Hey Mom, I think I already told you, but I got transferred to a new area, my comp is Elder B he was my comp in the MTC, he's honestly been my fave comp so far, so I was glad to be comps with him again. He likes to work hard, and he's really diligent. we have good work days. It's a nice pace to go to, after training for a while. the night before I got transfered in my last area, I had my phone held behind my back on my bike, so I could use it as a back light for my bike so people could see me. anyway, a guy on a motorcycle tried to grab the phone out of my hand as he rode past, but I have the firm seffker grip ;) so he didn't get it from me, but it made me lose balance and so I fell and got alittle road rash, haha. it's not bad, just a scrape on my hand and knee, plus I saved the phone! (I kind of used it as a hand shield when i fell on the road so it broke! but at least the guy on the cycle didn't get it! haha. anyway contacting is pretty fun, we time kinda goes by fast, anyway, I've just had alot of cool experiences, I felt really strongly that i needed to ask my greenie for a blessing before I left my area, and I kept shaking off the prompting, but eventually I just asked him, and I was told in the blessing that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are so excited for what I am about to experience, and the things that will happen. I don't know the Lord's timing but, I can definitely see something amazing happening here in this area, right now I'm in the last stretch of my mission and so I'm comfortable in the language, but I'm really trying to improve myself and just be ready for when i get home. that story about addi is so cool, I was talking to my comp late last night about the temple. the church is super committed and willing to make sure the temple is a holy place of sanctity and reverence. I am so exciting for the temple, i really hope that I get the chance to work in the slc temple. well i love you mom, I hope you have a really good week. I know this church is true. I know God is a t the helm

Doel
this week we had zone conference. we talked about goals. we won't accomplish our goals, if we have no desire to achieve them. that's where it's so important to have the right attitude. what is my purpose? why am I doing theses things and setting these goals? in dutch the word for goal, and purpose are the same word "doel" recently, I've been focusing on how I can improve my attitude. I think the best way is prayer. the Lord can change our hearts, and give us the right desires. I love you Mom, I hope you have a wonderful week. I'll talk to you next week, thanks again for pictures! I love seeing them, keep them coming!

Really booked
But anyway, this week has been rough numbers wise, we just have so many lessons fall through. We have really busy schedules but the appointments fall through, we are really booked for this next week too. Haha itll be cool, yesterday we met a guy who i could just feel that he was ready for the gospel. It was interesting, his faith in God is weak and so i talked to him about that. The Spirit guides us. Sometimes i can feel the words coming straight to my mouth, knowing that theyre not mine. I love you mom, have a wonderful week!

Hi mom, its so cool to see those pictures! Two brand new babies! I bet you and dad are so excited. Im glad parks birth was good and everything went alright, its good that he's so big! I still havent got my christmas package yet, but i know itll be here soon! Thanks for sending it :) im glad to hear addi went to the temple. It still feels like addi is like 6! Haha its been pretty good this week, we had a lot of fall through lessons which gave us lots of time to find! We met this lady this week who asked us what the bible is talking about when it talks about the sun moon and stars, i was super suprised! I told her about the three kingdoms haha. We also talked about spiritual and physical death and how Christ overcame both. The gospel is so cool. Its been a good week. You all look so good. Im gonna come back and look like a pirate compared to all of you haha. Jared looks really old and weathered, and dad IS old and weathered haha. I love you mom, that quote about womanhood is so cool, bringing children into the world is so amazing. The family truly us ordained of God. Love you mom, have a wonderful week! 💙💙
