Hey! Thanks for the email!
So the investigator family is doing awesome! E, and T and
their little 1 year old. So there was a time where we were told the
official ward boundaries of our ward. It was right by E area, we
went to his house to check it out and it turns out he is in our
boundaries after all, the other side of his little road is the start
of the next ward! We also got told yesterday by an investigator that
he attended the moroni high school, so we figured he probably had
indeed already joined the church and then just gone less active. Our
next lesson with him was right after ward and so we asked him and he
was like "no it was just my brother that went to moroni, I went to a
high school right next to moroni so that's probably why he thought
that." So yeah, we've been seeing lots of blessings! When we give them
a choice of days for their next lesson they actually choose the
closest day! haha, and they remembered our lesson yesterday and
returned to their house just in time for us to lesson rather than just
not coming. They're some really nice people. We just taught them word
of wisdom yesterday. They accepted the lesson really well, & the
commitment to live it. Yeah they're really awesome, they seem pretty
prepared! Hopefully they can make it all the way, we're praying for
them! So now we're just looking for some fellowship for them.
Well, this week has been good! We got some more good tracting in. Good
lessons. We found a lot of people again in our tracting efforts. Some
more less actives as well. Some other people that we've really enjoyed
working with this week are T and M. They're two male
college age guys. They really enjoy their lessons. They're progressing
pretty well. Sometimes we help marewe with english, cause he's
enrolled in a school where they just study english. A lot of jobs in
kiribati require english so that's why he's learning it. Office jobs
at least.
Well other than that, the week has been good. We've been blessed with
lots of good health. Lots of good work, really fun and fulfilling as
well.
I've been reading in Alma, the war chapters. They're way interesting.
Well, I know that the church is true, I'm so grateful for our Savior
through which we can be cleansed from all our sins and short comings.
If we'll just take the necessary steps to repent and turn to Him and
leave our sins completely. I'm grateful for the Book of Mormon as well
and all the words of the prophets inside it. Well, have a good week!
Love you all! - Elder Seffker
